As the title suggests my favourite spotted cat, the perfect predator and stealth hunter. This is a male leopard sleeping in his favourite killing tree. I love the paws on all the big cats and with this painting I wanted to capture the fact that although he’s peacefully resting at any moment he could awake and be focused on his next meal.
Favourite Spot was reproduced in 2004 from an original acrylic by the artist Craig Roberts, a painter of African Wildlife Art.
